Apa itu www eMarketing?

World Wide Web (www) telah menyediakan roda besar di bidang perniagaan bagi banyak perusahaan.  Melalui media tersebut, para pemain bisnis mendapatkan menfaat kecepatan, efisiensi, dan efektivitas pengeluaran dari penggunaan website untuk mendapatkan kembali keuntungan investasi dari periklanan dan kampanye promosi yang tidak didapatkan dalam promosi media tradisional.

Beberapa bentuk aktivitas eMarketing yaitu iklan banner/tombol dan link-link website, email marketing dan newsletter, afiliasi marketing, klasifikasi produk online, dan pemanfatan mesin pencari.

Bentuk-bentuk aktivitas tersebut dapat mewakili keseluruhan kegiatan marketing perusahaan dengan mengarahkan calon konsumen mengunjungi sebuah website penjualan online yang dimiliki perusahaan tersebut untuk meningkatkan statistik kunjungan dan penjualan.

Beberapa manfaat yang diperoleh dari eMarketing antara lain:

• Return on Investment (kembali modal). Karena kekuatan tracking yang begitu bagus, anda bisa memastikan bahwa modal anda dapat kembali. Dengan dapat menentukan seberapa banyak orang yang melakukan klik terhadap banner iklan atau link email, para pemilik usaha dapat mengkalkulasi kembalinya modal investasi dengan mudah.
• Inexpensive (tidak mahal). eMarketing, terutama email dan membeli keywords (kata kunci) pada mesin pencari internet adalah relatif murah, bahkan bisa dikatakan sangat murah.
